PROCESS & APPLICATION
A closer look.
A connected water treatment sequence
HOMEOWELL combines pre-treatment, reverse osmosis and electrodeionisation in a laboratory water purification system. UV treatment and filtration complete the treatment concept for water used in preparation workflows.
Pre-treatment and reverse osmosis
Activated carbon and a 5 µm filter prepare the incoming water. The documented reverse osmosis configuration uses two P-100 membranes in cascade to improve water-saving efficiency.
Electrodeionisation and storage
An EDI module with continuous regeneration follows reverse osmosis. A 50-litre storage tank includes an aseptic overflow and a 0.22 µm vent filter with a CO₂ trap; a tank UV lamp is an available option.
Recirculation and laboratory integration
An active recirculation pump and back-pressure regulation keep the distribution loop moving. Incoming water quality, demand, connection points and the installation layout are reviewed when defining your system.
